Job Description

The Despatch Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of goods, maintaining records of shipments, coordinating with delivery personnel, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Order Processing:

Prepare and process dispatch documentation

Coordination:

Liaise with warehouse staff, drivers, and couriers to ensure the timely dispatch of goods.

Inventory Control:

Maintain accurate records of dispatched goods and report discrepancies.

Compliance:

Ensure all dispatches comply with company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:



High school diploma or equivalent (a logistics or supply chain qualification is a plus). 1-2 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehousing. Knowledge of dispatch procedures, documentation, and inventory control. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics software. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
