Manage and prioritize IT Systems Development tasks through the effective deployment of resources and efficient workload allocation. Lead a team of system developers to drive innovation and ensure that Business IT Systems requirements are sufficiently developed and adhered to.POSITION INFO:
Job Function:Team Management:

• Lead and manage a team of software developers, engineers, and QA professionals.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.

Project Planning:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Prioritize tasks and ensure project progress.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and oversight to the development team.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and industry trends.
• Make technical decisions and trade-off analyses.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management, design, and operations.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.

Resource Management:

• Manage resource allocation, including team members, vendors, and contractors.
• Ensure adequate resources to meet project demands.

Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate technical risks and potential roadblocks.
• Develop contingency plans and ensure business continuity.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure high-quality software development and delivery.
• Implement quality processes, such as testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.

Innovation and Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.

Budgeting and Cost Management:

• Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Make financial decisions and trade-off analyses.

Reporting and Metrics:

• Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure team performance.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Developer)
• Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+)
