A Leading Payment Aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions is looking for a Development Team Manager to lead a team of Developers in an Agile environment. The role focuses on team performance, process optimisation, recruitment of new developers, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Leading and managing a team of developers, including performance reviews and career development.
Overseeing resource allocation, workload balancing, and onboarding/offboarding.
Managing developer recruitment in collaboration with Senior Developers and HR.
Ensuring effective communication with Project Managers and Stakeholders.
Providing technical expertise to support and uphold work estimation an delivery commitments.
Supervising code reviews, testing, and Agile processes.
Serving as an escalation point for team challenges.
Driving continuous improvement and Agile best practices.
All other tasks related to the position.
Minimum requirements:
Tertiary qualification in software development, computer science, or engineering.
Proven experience managing technical teams in software development.
Strong technical background to support estimation, decisions, and recruitment.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
* Experience in performance management or recruitment is an advantage.
