WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
The DevOps Engineer is a versatile and highly skilled professional responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring the seamless deployment, management, and optimization of applications. This role combines technical expertise in software engineering with a deep understanding of infrastructure and operations, enabling the organization to achieve greater agility, efficiency, and reliability in it's software delivery processes.
Act as a key member of the TSARA BizDevOps team, focusing on Support & Operations (2nd & 3rd Level) while being adaptable to changing needs
Develop and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
Development of new functionality based on requirements
Implement and optimize tools and processes for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment
Collaborate with development teams to integrate and automate application deployments
Manage and resolve Incident Management (IM) and Critical Incident Management (CIM) tickets
Lead Problem Management (PM) initiatives and coordinate Change Management (CM) tasks
Perform daily system health checks and ensure systems are operational according to SLAs
Generate and report KPIs to stakeholders on a monthly basis
Adhere to and improve Group PIC processes (Problem, Incident, Change)
Understand business requirements, prepare AS-IS and TO-BE documents, and obtain sign-off from users
Provide input for business cases in terms of benefits and risks
Execute required changes through configuration and development
Balance technical skills with business acumen to align IT goals with business objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships between IT and the business
Excel in clear communication and work effectively with teams across the organization
Identify, analyse, and resolve issues efficiently
Approach problems systematically and find innovative solutions
Collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
Always consider the impact on the customer and strive to enhance their experience
Mediate disputes and find mutually acceptable solutions
Be willing and able to work after hours and on public holidays (critical and high defects)
Take ownership and responsibility for all aspects of the team's delivery
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?
IT degree or equivalent experience
At least 6-8 years of DevOps experience in commercial and/or retail end-user IT applications
Proven track record in operating, implementing and managing large-scale IT systems
Experience in the automotive or similar manufacturing industry (advantageous)
IT security Certifications (advantageous)
