• IT degree or equivalent experience
• At least 6-8 years of DevOps experience in commercial and/or retail end-user IT applications
• Proven track record in operating, implementing and managing large-scale IT systems
• Experience in the automotive or similar manufacturing industry (advantageous)
• IT security Certifications (e.g. GROUP Internal Purple Belt) (advantageous)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Experience with ITIL operation processes (Incident, Problem, Change management)
• DevOps experience:
• Kubernetes and Docker
• Pipeline setup and automation (e.g. Github Actions)
• Automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications (Infrastructure as Code, GitOps; Experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, Flux, Helm)
• In-depth working knowledge of IT infrastructure and platforms - operating systems like Linux and Windows, networks, platforms like databases, web technologies, and AWS cloud technology
• Backend development experience:
• At least 6-8 years' experience in Java Development
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ReactJS/Angular) (Advantageous)
• Strong back-end development skills (Java/Quarkus, NodeJS)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Database management skills (SQL, particularly PostgreSQL, Nagios)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab CI)
• Understanding of the DevSecOps principles
• Experience in maintaining IT security in applications
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

• Experience with GROUP and our Agile Working Model (AWM)
• German language skills
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

ROLE:

• The DevOps Engineer is a versatile and highly skilled professional responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring the seamless deployment, management, and optimization of applications.
• This role combines technical expertise in software engineering with a deep understanding of infrastructure and operations, enabling the organization to achieve greater agility, efficiency, and reliability in it's software delivery processes.
• Act as a key member of the TSARA BizDevOps team, focusing on Support & Operations (2nd & 3rd Level) while being adaptable to changing needs
• Develop and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
• Development of new functionality based on requirements
• Implement and optimize tools and processes for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate and automate application deployments
• Manage and resolve Incident Management (IM) and Critical Incident Management (CIM) tickets
• Lead Problem Management (PM) initiatives and coordinate Change Management (CM) tasks
• Perform daily system health checks and ensure systems are operational according to SLAs
• Generate and report KPIs to stakeholders on a monthly basis
• Adhere to and improve Group PIC processes (Problem, Incident, Change)
• Understand business requirements, prepare AS-IS and TO-BE documents, and obtain sign-off from users
• Provide input for business cases in terms of benefits and risks
• Execute required changes through configuration and development
• Balance technical skills with business acumen to align IT goals with business objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships between IT and the business
• Excel in clear communication and work effectively with teams across the organization
• Identify, analyse, and resolve issues efficiently
• Approach problems systematically and find innovative solutions
• Collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
• Always consider the impact on the customer and strive to enhance their experience
• Mediate disputes and find mutually acceptable solutions
• Be willing and able to work after hours and on public holidays (critical and high defects)
• Take ownership and responsibility for all aspects of the team's delivery
