Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
To carry out maintenance & preventive service in accordance to the maintenance schedule plan and breakdowns and attend to afterhours breakdowns on local delivery fleet.Education and Qualification:
- Trade test: Diesel Mechanic
- Must have Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF4 equivalent qualification.
- Must have clear criminal record.
- 4-5 years experience as a qualified mechanic in a workshop environment with at least one year in a supervisory role.
- Experience with FAW; Fuso; Hino and Nissan Trucks
- Be brilliant at the basics
- Lead with integrity, respect and energy

- Various makes of delivery vehicles
- Fault Finding
- Fleet maintenance software (freeway, profleet; fms would be advantageous)
- Auto electrical maintenance (advantageous)
