Job Description
Diesel MechanicOur client is one of the leading role players in the pome industry, located in Grabouw, Western Cape. They are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their organization.Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for fleet maintenance as per scheduled maintenance plan
- Fault finding
- Adherence to safe working procedures
- Logging job cards on the system
- Attending to breakdowns if and when required
- Any other duties that may be required
- Mechanical trade test certificate as a Diesel Mechanic
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a mechanical workshop
- Sound technical knowledge of trucks, forklifts and other diesel vehicles
- Medically fit to perform duties as a mechanic
- Computer literate
- Valid driver's license (Code EC with a valid PDP or forklift license will be advantageous)
- Willing to work shifts and overtime
