Job Summary Job Title: Diesel Mechanic - MiningLocation: MpumalangaJob Type: Full-timeJob Summary:
Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their mining operation in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a fleet of heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment used in our mining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining equipment maintenance and repair, as well as a solid understanding of diesel engines.Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel vehicles and mining equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all equipment
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Assist in managing inventory of spare parts and equipment
- Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanicsQualifications:
- Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanics and Grade 12
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Diesel Mechanic in a mining environment
- Solid knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits:
