Job Summary Minimum Requirements Matric Must be qualified and hold a Trade Certificate: Diesel Mechanic/Earth Moving Mechanic. 3 years of experience in opencast mining, construction, and earthworks. Essential: Own vehicle and valid Drivers License. Willingness to travel between sites. Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure that the appropriate pre-start checklists are completed by the designated operator on a daily basis. Enforce compliance with the relevant maintenance procedures. Perform daily equipment availability monitoring. Conduct necessary servicing for the respective plant components. Analyse issues based on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Reduce plant downtime and handle downtime situations with a high degree of urgency. Guarantee adherence to the Company's preventative maintenance systems. Identify and rectify machine faults.
