Diesel & Petrol Mechanic / Technician Required Knysna

Job Description
Duties:
- Troubleshooting
- Inspecting and testing vehicles
- Diagnostics
- Servicing and repairs to:
- Diesel engines
- Overhauls
- Completing preventive maintenance
- Engine tune-ups
- Oil changes
- Braking systems
- Turbo chargers
- Fuel injectors
- Pumps etc
- Perform breakdown repairs
- Responsible for the service and maintenance of all equipment and machinery
- Maintain diesel equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance
- Correcting vehicle deficiencies
- Adjusting and aligning
- Keeping accurate records of all vehicles
Requirements:
- Qualified Diesel mechanic (Trade Tested)
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Must be experienced in the use of diesel engine diagnostic software
- Experience with conducting inspections and running diagnostic tests to identify worn and damaged parts
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms:
- Excellent knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment
- Valid drivers license
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics
