DescriptionPosition at EssenceMediacomObjectives of the Role:
As a Digital Manager you will be responsible for creating the digital media strategy and accompanying plans that address clients' business needs. You will also oversee overall campaign execution and performance, together with your digital media operations partner. As a senior member of the team, you are expected to co-manage a set of brands with Client team and manage your own (digital media only accounts) as well as manage Digital Planner within portfolio. Key Areas ofResponsibility and Accountability:
1. Campaign Implementation
1.1. Implementation Strategy
Responsible for:

  • Brief MO
  • Consolidate MOs responses
  • Creation of implementation strategy deck
  • Presentation to client
  • Take feedback, action reverts and secure approval from client
Consulted for:
  • Define campaign KPIs, benchmarks and success measures
Informed of:
  • Take implementation brief
1.2. Implementation Plan
Responsible for:
  • Create media plan
  • Create chase list/ brief into planner
Informed of:
  • Raise CE/Secure campaign PO
1.3. Implementation
Responsible for:
  • Brief creative agency
  • Secure & QA campaign creative
Consulted for:
  • Sign MO IOs (if applicable)
Informed of:
  • Secure signed IOs
In-flight reporting
Responsible for:
  • Pull and review weekly reports (dashboard or other)
  • Weekly optimisation of self-serve platforms
  • Weekly optimisation of MO activity
  • Monthly in-flight performance report (incl. learnings, optimisation summary)
Accountable for:
  • Utilise self-serve platforms to inform revert (Narratiive, keyword planner, reach planner etc.)
  • Load plan into symphony
  • Brief GM Ad Ops
  • Secure & QA ad server and verification tags
  • Supply ad server and verification tags to MOs
  • Create campaigns in self-serve platforms (incl. usage of ad server/verification tags)
  • Create POF report
Consulted for:
  • Weekly in-flight performance email to clients
1.5. Finance/Billing
Accountable for:
  • Monthly close-out reports
  • Monthly flowplan update with actuals
  • Monthly social competitor updates for EMEA media competitive report
Consulted for:
  • Monthly actualisation in Symphony
1.6. Campaign Close
Responsible for:
  • Final campaign report (incl. recommendations for future campaigns)
Consulted for:
  • Final actualisation in Symphony
2. Broader Digital Support
2.1. Phase 1/2 support
Responsible for:
  • Use of [m]Platform as input into Phase 1/2
  • Use of mScreen as input into Phase 1/2 (or into implementation)
  • Weekly QA of dashboard data
  • Monthly digital productivity report
2.2. Reporting
Consulted for:
  • Monthly update of digital benchmarking database
  • Monthly Synthesis update
Minimum Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in communication or media or business management 4 to 6 years of experience in digital media or programmatic buying (or a role that covers above knowledge areas) High confidence levels to work with mid to senior level clients (both local and regional/global) Knowledge required in - digital media insights and analysis for planning, reporting and insights on campaigns, social and mobile advertising, performance marketing and programmatic buying
  • Candidate should be able to present thoughts, plans and ideas in a clear and succinct manner (on a PowerPoint, Excel, or otherwise)
