Digital Sales Executive Position: Gauteng and KZN and CT Remuneration: Basic + commissionPreferred start: asapBroadbrand is the media division of our client's group, a 20-year veteran in the South African online space. They hold exclusive rights to resell advertising technologies, including Zendrive and Netcore. Their looking to take advantage of the explosion for relevant data and rich media and need additional sales staff in Gauteng to meet the demand in the market. This role will evolve into a sales manager/director role (succession based).ResponsibilitiesGenerating new business from brands and agencies
xefxbbxbfMaintaining some existing clients in addition to bringing your own client base
xefxbbxbfRunning with a campaign from strategising and pitching through to launch, billing and reporting
xefxbbxbfLiaison with agencies, brands, industry bodies, third parties and internal departments.
xefxbbxbfWork within a team, reporting to a manager and answerable to the CEO
xefxbbxbfManage personal sales pipeline.
xefxbbxbfProvide accurate sales forecasts and report to management in a timely and consistent manner.
xefxbbxbfShare customer/ industry feedback and insights with internal partners.
xefxbbxbfIdentifying relevant opportunities and capitalizing on Group product setRequirementsAbility to understand original advertising solutions and be proficient within a month
xefxbbxbfB2B media sales experience is preferred, but not essential.
xefxbbxbfThree years+ media sales experience specialising in digital media.
xefxbbxbfDemonstrated ability to initiate and close complex packages.
xefxbbxbfKnowledge of internet technologies and the online advertising sales market.
xefxbbxbfExperience in selling to clients at a senior management/ director level.
xefxbbxbfThe ability to apply creative solutions to advertising briefs and create strong bespoke sales packages in a highly competitive marketplace.
xefxbbxbfEstablished relationships with Gauteng agencies and clients
xefxbbxbfQualification in sales / advertising or relevant experience essential
xefxbbxbfAgency knowledge / agency relationships essential
xefxbbxbfCyber security added benefitPersonal Skills/Attributes:Expert Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
xefxbbxbfKnowledge of advertising concepts such as Analytics, DFP, Facebook, Google, AdWords
xefxbbxbfGrasp of rates (CPM, CPC, CPV, CPI etc)
xefxbbxbfUnderstanding of recent advertising concepts and trends regarding audience data, legislation, beaconing.
xefxbbxbfStrong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
xefxbbxbfPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
