REPORTS TO
Section Manager or any other person appointed to supervise him/her from time to time.
PRIMARY POSITION PURPOSE
Provide and undertake complex design modelling and production tasks, prepare tender/construction documents and provide technical support services in meeting the requirements of the functional group and its clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure projects are documented within guidelines set by supervisor Produce efficient, high-quality Models, drawings and documentation Ensure tasks are completed to program 3D Modelling and detailing Quality audit on outgoing drawings Use office systems relevant to tasks Ensure appropriate technical and drawing standards and quality procedures are maintained on all projects Participating in office technical discussions and project delivery meetings Mentor, train and provide technical support to junior staff Coordination of multi-disciplinary work on projects Communicate with clients, suppliers and other offices Prepare bills of quantities Compile reinforcing bending schedules Maintain a high level of Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) and modelling expertise and engineering knowledge Assist Engineers with research and innovation Assist Project Managers and engineers with site queries and reporting solutions

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORSTo work independently and self-motivated to produce accurate drawings to a high standard within set deadlines Ability to work well within a team and positive attitude to your work Identifies and understands technical issues, problems and opportunities Working with project guidelines and standards Complete quality drawings and documents within a required timeframe

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCENational Diploma (Civil Engineering or equivalent) 1- 5 years modelling and production experience. Must have civil and structural experience Experience in the use of Autodesk, Bentley and other relevant software Understand the use and importance of standards in the application of software tools
