Digital Marketing Consultant - East LondonFull job descriptionEstablished in 2019, Mdaswifi is a growing, National Internet Service Provider connecting homes and businesses to uncapped internet. We operate a regional wireless internet network and a national fiber business. We also operate a growing Wi-Fi hotspot network and offer VAS Services such as VoIP and shared hosting services.We are looking for a creative, tech savvy Marketing Consultant with strong digital marketing skills. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be providing a supporting role in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies, tactics and campaigns linked to and in partnership with the sales team, to drive customer engagement and sales. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:Social Media Content Creation, Design & PublishingDesign brochures and posters for print and digital marketingDevelop campaign strategies to attract and;Retain followers across social media platformsCreate engaging content including eye catching pictures and videos across all our social media platforms.These will include Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn posts, reels, stories and more engaging content.Email Marketing & Communications:Communicate key messages to prospective and existing customers;Concerning billing, technical, new products and any other new developments in a clear, visually appealing fashion.Informed by key developments from various departments, write and distribute the company newsletter in a timely and visually appealing fashion.Field Marketing:Support field promoters on the field through organizing ofCompany promotional material including banners, gazebos, etc.Monitor field promotions and analyze performance for reportingEnsure adequate marketing print material during promotional eventsCapture engaging field promotions content that may be useful for social mediaAny other ad-hoc duties as requested by Sales ManagerBe prepared to travel from time to time to new areas for promotionsMonitoring & Reporting:Monitor Mdaswifi social media platforms dailyProviding excellent customer service and managing relationships with customers through various channels.Respond to comment enquiries, directing customers to our sales channels.Escalating technical complaints from comments to technical support.Escalating billing complaints from comments to billing department.Monitor trends on social media to make data-driven decisionsMonitor the brand on various social media platforms with monitoring tools.Alert the relevant stakeholders of potential brand damage and crisis situations.Weekly/monthly reporting on social media campaign perfomanceParticipate, prepare for, and contribute to weekly sales meetingsParticipate, prepare for, and contribute to monthly sales & marketing meetingsSupport Sales Manager in the submission of monthly reportsJob Requirements:Excellent written and oral communication skillsDiploma/certificate in Digital Marketing or related fieldsMinimum 2 years' experience managing paid media campaignsProven track record of success managing Meta Ads (FB & Instagram), Google Ads (Including YouTube), LinkedIn, TikTok.Proficiency in analytics tools including Facebook Insights, and interpreting data to make informed decisions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, billing, HR and technical.Creativity and innovation in developing advertising strategies and campaigns.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.Experience in coming up with effective marketing strategiesWorking knowledge of all aspects of websites and digital marketingGood working knowledge of Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress or similar)Proficient use of productivity tools such as email, web search, CRMs and online collaboration apps (e.g. Slack, Google Workspaces)Benefits:Market-related CTCCompany Group Life CoverCompany Group Funeral CoverCompany Group Disability CoverFree Uncapped Internet if residing in communities we serviceJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
