Job Description


Manage Mediamark Digital sales for the KZN and Cape Town Coastal Region.Achieve and exceed sales revenue budgets.Build & manage an Integrated Solutions sales division xe2x80x93 audio and digital.Understand the use of first party data in developing media solutions and creating a culture of customer centricityDuties & Responsibilities

  • Offer clients specialized media solutions through variety of opportunities designed to deliver maximum campaign results by integrating multiple channels, unlocking additional revenue in the process.
  • Promote Mediamark and Brands to clients xe2x80x93 position Mediamark as an authority on their brandsxe2x80x99 positioning and objectives.
  • Be an active and highly effective networker, have and develop strong relationships with senior level agency and client contacts.
  • Oversee the active focus on and use of data and insight in the teamsxe2x80x99 proposals and presentations.
  • Work closely with product development teams to develop, commercialise, and implement new packages for media sales team to offer to advertisers.
  • Achieve and exceed Coastal Revenue Targets.
  • Take action to meet customer needs and concerns by responding quickly to customersxe2x80x99 needs and resolve problems.
  • Initiate and participate in sales pricing and tactical pricing initiatives with Business Intelligence Team.
  • Develop and manage Coastal sales strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ongoing measurement of sales plans to ensure revenue budgets are achieved and sales behaviour exceeds expectations.
  • Ensure all reporting requirements are accurately completed timeously including amongst others, all CRM (pipelines, activity tracking, accurate client and data capturing etc.)
  • Assist in all relevant strategic review and planning meetings and ensure presentation content is timeously submitted and professionally captured.
  • Focus on Stakeholder management with high visibility with internal and external Stakeholders.
  • Participate in Mediamark leadership meetings where required.
  • Develop Coastal Regions through leadership, and developing, managing and mentoring staff in the region.
  • Quarterly Travel to KZN region and ad hoc where required
Education & Training
  • Sales and Marketing Degree/Diploma preferred
  • Supplementary Media, Digital and Sales training courses advantageous
Experience
  • Min 8-10 years in senior media Sales Management including Client Service/Key Account management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of the advertising industry including Radio & Digital Sales and Marketing.
  • Market research capabilities, with sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in strategic planning and general business practices advantageous
  • Proven Industry relationships & communication skills.
  • Track record in managing teams successfully
