Job Description
About the RoleWe are looking for a senior legal practitioner to join our Real Estate & Conveyancing team and be part of a dynamic International Law firm with diverse teams and rapidly growth footprint.Key Requirements:
- LLB Law degree
- Admitted Attorney, Notary public and Conveyancer in South Africa
- Min 8 years post qualification experience
- Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft and Legal software programs such as LexisNexis, Search Works and Windeed or similar)
- Ideally running their own commercial practice
- Leadership, management of the practice
- Management, supervision and administration of team and transactions
- Establish operational strategies of the firm
- Relationship management and new business
- Legal research, reviewing of Real Estate and conveyancing related legal documentation and application of the law
- Drafting and preparation of conveyancing documents
- Skill and knowledge of conveyancing including but not limited to commercial related financing and transfer transactions
- Real Estate due diligence experience
