Role PurposeSupervises individuals within a team and ensures claims assessments are done according to company policy and fulfills a coaching/mentoring role to team members.
Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years Disability Management experience.
  • BOT (Bachelor of Arts Occupational Therapy) / BSc. Occupational Therapy / BSc Physiotherapy.
  • Minimum 1 year work assessment and/or adult rehabilitation experience.
  • Understanding and knowledge of the Group Insurance Industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assisting team members with presentation to new clients
  • Liaising with internal teams in FundsAtWork and Group Insurance as well as the greater Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Group.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external clients such as medical practitioners, organized labour, board of trustees and intermediaries etc.
  • Ensure effective claims management service delivery and support.
  • Managing of the claims management information system, i.e. data integrity.
  • Adhere to organisational best practice, compliance and legislative requirements.
  • Plan processes and services, schedule and co-ordinate to achieve efficiency and quality standards.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Ensure all risks are mitigated and escalated where necessary.
  • Drive day to day deliverables of team; ensuring quality and ensuring meeting of standards.
  • Monthly feedback sessions with all team members.
  • Strong focus on development and training.
  • Strong focus on business process improvement
  • Workflow / workload monitoring.
  • Adhering to performance excellence principles.
  • Performance Excellence - draft and report team member performance.
  • Participate in the induction of new staff members.
