Distribution Centre Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to join a dynamic team within a wholesale distribution company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing distribution operations, with a preference for experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and timely distribution of grocery items to our network of smaller shops. Responsibilities include managing and supervising warehouse staff, optimizing inventory control, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate records, and implementing best practices for storage and distribution. Additionally, you will monitor performance metrics, conduct regular audits, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
