Distribution Quality Manager

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and compliance with all safety and quality standards.


REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE




Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse and distribution management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes Experience with ERP systems and warehouse management software Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations in the food industry

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS




Develop and implement distribution strategies to optimize efficiency and maximize productivity Manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts and physical audits Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations Develop and manage a team of warehouse and distribution staff, including training, coaching, and performance management Implement and maintain a quality management system to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any warehouse or distribution issues.
