A leading water treatment solutions provider based in the West Rand is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven District Manager to oversee operations in Brits, Northwest. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and proven experience in sales, team management, and operations. Key responsibilities include achieving targets and growth, leading the team, ensuring SHEQ compliance, managing operations and reporting, and fostering strong customer relationships. Excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Chemical or Mech Engineering
• For this position, the individual may be required to go underground occasionally, as needed.
• Own vehicle with a valid license.
• Clean bill of Health to pass client site medicals.
• RSA Citizen SA ID
• Proven experience in sales, team management, and operations.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to develop and manage a high-performing team
• Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
• In-depth understanding of SHEQ requirements and safety legislation
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as required by operational needs.
• Excellent computer skills Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel for business

Duties:

• Drive district contributions to company targets.
• Manage and expand current customer relationships.
• Identify and convert new customers and market opportunities aligned with company goals.
• Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
• Recruit, coach, and monitor the performance of staff and contract employees.
• Develop your team to ensure succession planning and operational depth.

• Serve as the 16.2 appointee for the district, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety legislation.
• Appoint and train competent personnel for safe task execution.
• Lead by example, fostering a culture of safety and excellence in your district.
• Present sales, revenue, and expense reports, as well as realistic forecasts, to senior management.
• Oversee all district operations, ensuring alignment with client scopes and expectations.
• Organize safety meetings, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assisting with reports to Management report writing
• Perform other duties as required by the business, even if not specifically listed in the job description.
