Job Description

To provide a total management function-strategic, technical, administrative and implementation for
Parks, Leisure and Cemeteries facilities and services in the Division.
Key Responsibility AreasUndertakes the formulation of strategic direction in the form of short-, medium- and long-term
goals for the Division.
Initiates, plans, sources budget and manages special projects.
Consults and negotiates with relevant stakeholders with regards to site and facility planning,
zoning, acquisition as well as the budgetary aspects for the implementation of projects.
Manages personnel and the activities carried out by the Division.
Manages Aquatic Safety, Cemeteries, Halls, Law Enforcement and Horticulture.
Undertakes the daily management of the operational functions, administration and control of the
division.

Essential RequirementsDiploma (NQF Level 6) in Horticulture or Landscape Technology or Turf Management.
Valid motor vehicle driving license.
6 years relevant experience in the green industry of which 2 years must be at a management level.
Preferred RequirementsDegree (NQF Level 7) in Horticulture or Landscape Technology or Turf Management.
7 years relevant experience in the green industry of which 3 years must be at a management level.
