Job Summary:

As a Doorman at our establishment, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, assisting with luggage, managing the entrance, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. The ideal candidate will be personable, attentive, have a good sense of humour and possess excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Greeting and Assistance:

Welcome guests with a friendly and approachable demeanour.

Assist guests with luggage, providing a seamless arrival and departure experience.

Offer information about the hotel''''s facilities and services.

Security and Access Control:

Monitor the entrance to ensure only authorised individuals enter the premises.

Communication and Coordination:

Effectively communicate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations.

Collaborate with the concierge to provide information about local attractions, restaurants, and transportation.

Maintaining Appearance:

Present a professional and well-groomed appearance at all times.

Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the entrance area.

Valet Services:

Coordinate valet parking services for guests as needed.

Ensure the timely retrieval and return of guests'''' vehicles.

Ad Hoc tasks as and when required

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end hospitality environment.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.

Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry luggage.

Knowledge of local attractions and services.

Familiarity with security protocols and procedures.

Drivers licence essential
