Job Summary Job Title: Draughtsperson and Team Leader - Mining IndustryLocation: Gauteng, South AfricaJob Type: Full-timeHire Resolve's Leading Mining Client are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Draughtsperson and Team Leader to join our mining team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of drafters in designing and drafting plans and technical drawings for various mining projects.Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of drafters to ensure accuracy and timeliness in the completion of technical drawings for mining projects
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed drawings
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drawings produced
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to promote professional development and growth
- Review and approve drawings before submission for approval
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as contractors and suppliers, to ensure all drawings meet project specifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all drawings and project documentationRequirements:- Degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Draughtsperson in the mining industry
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of drafters
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software
- Strong understanding of mining industry regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
