Draughtsman (Autodesk Inventor) (JB4067)
R20 000 - R25 000 CTC per month
3-month contract

Leading equipment manufacturing company (mining Sector) requires an experienced Draughtsman with Autodesk Inventor experience to Create drawings for sheet metal components.

Minimum Requirements:
Completed Grade 12 coupled with a relevant draughting qualification.
2 or more years of experience as a Draughtsman.
Autodesk Inventor experience.
Sheet Metal and Detailing experience.
Own transport and a valid driver's license.
Understanding of SABS/ SANS drawings specs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate on product design using engineering and manufacturing techniques.
Transform rough sketches and specifications into detailed designs.
Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.
Generate multiple design versions for review.
Utilize Autodesk Inventor for design plans and layout drawings.
Draft diagrams based on given specifications.
Create drawings for sheet metal components.
Calculate dimensions and allowances with precision.
Compile data and specification sheets.
Revise drawings to accommodate changes and enhancements.
Follow design and development procedures.
Prepare General Arrangement, assembly, and manufacturing drawings.
Contribute to drawing revisions as required.
Incorporate company standards into engineering designs.
Manage document control processes.
Conduct site visits to measure existing equipment.
