A reputable kitchen renovating company dedicated to delivering high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces, seeks to employ a Draughtsman on a fixed-term contract. You will play a key role in translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings and plans for kitchen renovationsPosition: Draughtsman

Salary: Market Related (Fixed Term Contract)Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Drafting or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Draughtsman in the field of interior design, kitchen renovations, or a related industry will be beneficial.
• Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
• Familiarity with 3D modelling software (e.g., SketchUp) will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant drafting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• Time management skills to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities:
1.Drafting and Design:

• Create detailed technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections for kitchen renovation projects.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate representation of design concepts in the technical drawings.

2.Material and Product Specifications:

• Work closely with the design and project management teams to integrate material and product specifications into the technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

3.Communication and Coordination:

• Liaise with internal teams, including designers, project managers, and contractors, to convey design intent and address technical queries.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and manufacturers, to gather necessary technical information.

4.Quality Assurance:

• Review and verify accuracy in technical drawings to guarantee alignment with design specifications.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.

5.Project Documentation:

• Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including revisions and as-built drawings.
• Contribute to the preparation of documentation for project presentations and client communication.
