• Create detailed technical drawings based on rough sketches, specifications, and calculations.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet requirements and specifications.
• Utilise computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and high-quality drawings.
• Revise drawings as necessary based on feedback and changes in project requirements.
• Maintain drawing files and documentation for future reference and use.

• A diploma or certificate in Draughting, Engineering Graphics and Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, particularly AutoCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing creation.
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.

• 5+ years in a draughting role, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to mining or heavy industry projects

• Knowledge of mining industry standards and practises.
• Understanding of engineering principles and technical drawing standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently.

• Additional certifications in CAD software applications.
• Experience with 3D modelling software.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in mining environments.
