Job Description
Job Summary We're seeking a qualified Draughtsman who holds a BTech or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or has a Mechanical Draughting Certificate, complemented by experience in mechanical design and P&ID. You should bring a minimum of 5 years of practical experience with CAD software. Attention to detail and a sharp analytical mind-set are essential.As part of this role, you will take charge of various responsibilities, including drawing up general arrangement plant layouts, conducting site measurements, and producing Bills of Materials (BOM) for material sourcing. Your role will also involve overseeing manufacturing processes, collaborating with workshop teams, and providing on-site construction supervision. Your duties will encompass preparing detailed drawing packs, detailing steel and piping layouts, reviewing quotations, estimating costs for new designs, and managing CAD contractors effectively.Does this sound like you?
