NDC Personnel & Contractors is currently looking for a Draughtsman to enhance the technical team at a construction and building supplier in the Western Cape!As a key member of the production team, youll busy yourself with a wide array of design and drafting activities. You'll manage all communications regarding design and specifics of your projects, ensuring all stakeholders are on the same page. Youll also create detailed construction drawings, measurement layouts, and preliminary sketches for various structures. Additionally, compiling bending schedules, ordering necessary steel, and confirming client and engineer approvals for designs will be part of your regular duties. Youll be responsible for ensuring designs are meticulously entered into CAD software.Candidates should have a National Diploma in Civil Engineering with draughting experience, a strong background in AutoCAD and at least a years experience in a similar role (or knowledge and interest in the construction manufacturing environment), exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations. A high level of numeracy, literacy, accuracy, and excellent interpersonal skills are also needed.
