Job Title: Draughtsperson (Property Development)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draughtsperson to join our property development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and high-quality architectural and construction drawings to support a variety of development projects in mixed-use buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, site layouts, and technical documentation using CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce and refine design drawings from concept through to construction. Ensure that all drawings comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and company standards. Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes. Maintain drawing registers and proper document control procedures. Support planning applications and building permit submissions with accurate documentation. Conduct site visits to take measurements, verify details, or resolve on-site drawing issues. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers as needed during the design and construction phases.

Requirements:

Diploma or Certificate in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or related field. Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Experience working in property development or construction industry is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of local planning and building codes. Experience with 3D modelling and visualization tools.

Pay: R10000,00 - R12000,00 per month
