Job Description
Our client in the Construction industry is currently looking for a Driver, in Bloemfontein, Free State.Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles to make pickups and deliveries.
- Help with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Complete pre- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation.
- Use navigational technology to find and follow optimal routes.
- Assist with regular vehicle inspections, arranging maintenance when necessary.
- Refuel vehicles and ensure theyre always ready for use.
- Deliver materials to designated locations in a timely fashion.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and operational vehicle.
- Represent the company positively and professionally in interactions with customers and the general public.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the local area and the most efficient routes.
- Must have valid Drivers licence Code 10.
- Start 7:00am - 5pm (Monday - Friday)
- Own vehicle to work and back (Not negotiable)
- Must be willing to undergo Alcohol screening test on a daily basis.
- Nonsmoker.
- Must be willing to pick up stock of xc2xb1 30- 40kg .
- Must be bilingual, read, write and speak English and Afrikaans.
- Route:
- Will be based at Petra Quarry Bloemfontein traveling to and from:
- Mthatha
- Butterworth
- Queenstown
- Aliwal North
- Kimberley
- Johannesburg
- R10 000 per month - R12 000 per month.
