An established and well-known company is currently expanding and has an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced Driving Instructor to join their dynamic team at their Head Office in Cape Town. The ideal financial candidate will have a minimum of 3 - 4 years experience.This function is central to the delivery of driver training in all formats to all clients booked at by the Company inclusive of safety events. The instructor is to offer a combination of classroom-based training by the means of face to face as well as virtual theoretical training and on road practical driver training. These interventions aim to improve driver skills and attitude.Key Performance Areas:Customer servicesTime keepingProcedural & Administrative ComplianceUniforms & GroomingEquipmentCode of ConductCore Functions:Deliver classroom-based theoretical training by the means of face to face as well as virtual theoretical training and on road practical driver training.Capturing of supporting documentation for internal and external useRepresent the values of the company in their daily actions.Dispense theoretical knowledge of driver training and related items within the industryPresenting to audiences; with the ability to impart knowledge across all generational communication styles with patience and the ability to check understandingBe comfortable to engage with large groups with knowledge, conviction & passion for the industry with which we operate inPlanning of how you intend to deliver on training booked, route planning personally and for the candidateConducting an evaluation of anothers skills and driving attitude through in-car instructional techniquesAssessing and complete portfolio of evidence documents as per T.E.T.A requirementsFunctioning well under pressured conditionsAbility & desire to keep up with market trends and developments within the industry and to build on ones knowledge base through researchQualifications:Matric/Grade 12 CertificatePrevious experience within the training & motoring industryAt least 3 years experience, more than 5 would be preferable.Qualified Assessor: Qualified with T.E.T.A and S.A.Q.AHGV Driver ExperienceFamiliarity with the motor/training/HSE industry beneficialCandidate is required to have their own transport with a valid EC drivers license with PrDPIntermediate to advanced computer literacy required.Fluent in English. Proficiency in other languages beneficialSuitable for a candidate who resides in Cape Town
