Job Summary Requirements Matric Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DTP Operator Knowledge of Repro Software Key Responsibilities: Layout Design: Create visually appealing layouts for printed and digital materials using desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or similar tools. Typography : Select appropriate fonts and adjust typography to enhance the readability and aesthetics of the materials. Image Editing : Manipulate and enhance images using software like Adobe Photoshop to ensure they are of high quality and suitable for publication. Color Management : Ensure consistency and accuracy of colors throughout the design process, including image editing and printing. File Preparation : Prepare files for printing or digital distribution, including ensuring proper resolution, format, and color mode. Proofreading : Review materials for accuracy, consistency, and formatting errors before finalizing designs for production. Collaboration : Work closely with graphic designers, editors, and clients to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into design revisions. Deadline Management : Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Technical Support : Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to software, file formats, and printing processes.
