As an Duty Airport Manager on a shift basis, you will be responsible for managing Airport operations & business through the optimisation of safety, customer service delivery, on-time performance and financial & cost controls. You will contribute to the Airport team through effective leadership managing the Johannesburg operation including the after-hours responsibility for Qantas operations in a complex environment.Youll have -Operational management experience in a similar safety focussed industryExperience using AlteaHighly developed people leadership skills including performance management, coaching, mentoring and developmentBe customer focussed with excellent relationship building skillsExceptional stakeholder management skillsPositive and analytical approach to problem solving and the capacity to produce results within specified timeframesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to influence positive outcomes at all levelsCommercially focused with the ability to correctly assess the impact of decisions on business outcomesAbility to focus on costs and work within a budgetary framework.Proven track record of achieving KPI targetsProven record of successfully managing change and implementing continuous improvement activitiesDemonstrated commitment to managing a safe workplaceAble to work under pressure in a constantly changing operational environment.High standard of personal presentation and professional conductRights to live and work in South AfricaWhy Qantas?Youll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
