We are seeking a talented individual with experience in hotel operations and management, particularly in utilizing Opera Cloud and Micros materials control systems. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a renowned hotel group known for its exceptional service and commitment to excellence.DescriptionAs a Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional guest experiences.Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and supervising hotel staff across various departments.
• Handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Ensuring adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
• Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with relevant departments using Micros materials control.
• Utilizing Opera Cloud for reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and other front desk operations.
• Assisting with scheduling, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
• Collaborating with other managers to optimize hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
• Handling emergencies and resolving issues promptly and effectively.

• Previous experience working in hotel operations and management.
• Proficiency in Opera Cloud and Micros materials control systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Must reside in the KZN area
