POSITION: Contract until December 2026EXPERIENCE: 12+ Years related working experience.COMMENCEMENT: As soon as possibleQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• IT Degree / Diploma / Equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in Team Lead positions
• 5+ years project management experience
• 10+ years development experience

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• End to End Management/ Team Lead/ Project Manager
• Leadership, project management and soft skills
• Strong technical development background
• Ability to run with topics independently and pro-actively with little supervision
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

• Leadership/soft skills

• Taking ownership for all aspects of the DevOps Teams delivery to ensure the Team meets relevant KPIs (eg delivery, quality)
• Stakeholder and business engagement and management
• Steering and influencing Devs, testers, Ops consultants, BA, AM and Technical Team Leads
• Strong development skills with any of the following would be advantageous:

• Java Spring Boot
• Angular (Typescript and JavaScript)
• Kafka & JMS (MQ)
• SQL (Oracle, Postgres)
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• RESTful and SOAP services
• Design and development of Microservices
• Git, GitHub
• CI/CD pipelines
• Maven, docker
• Jira, confluence
• Unit testing, integration testing

ROLE:

• Ensuring the DevOps Team delivers on time, quality work.
• Steering and influencing Devs, testers, Ops consultants, BA, AM and Technical Team Leads
• Ensuring relevant structures in the team are established and followed, for example an excellent PR Process.
• Stakeholder and business engagement and management
• Influencing sub-PDOs and Technical Team leads to ensure the Team has a prioritised backlog and handles prioritised TLM measures timeousely.
• Constantly building good Team culture with healthy team dynamics
• Pro-active knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching of team members.
• Identify risks / impediments and proactively resolve them and escalate as necessary.
• Other responsibilities as per AWM Charter or as decided by department manager.
