Job SummaryHire Resolve is currently partnering with a reputable Civil Engineering Plant Hire company and together seeking a skilled Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic for their mechanical workshop in Polokwane.As an Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of heavy machinery used in construction, mining, and other industries. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of earthmoving equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.Responsibilities:

• Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks on earthmoving equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
• Replace faulty parts as needed
• Ensure efficient operation of machinery to minimize downtime
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

• Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Trade Test Red Seal Certificate
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related components
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in earthmoving equipment
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Valid driver's license
