As an East African Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and sales support to our Retail Sales Manager.This is an intermediate to senior-level position, and the successful candidate will have a deep understanding and passion for safari travel in East Africa. As an East African Specialist, you will be expected to provide customized travel itineraries to customers, develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, and continuously update your knowledge of the East African travel industry.DescriptionResponsibilities:Provide expert advice and sales support to the Retail Sales Manager.
Develop customized travel itineraries for customers.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Continuously update your knowledge of the East African travel industry.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth travel operations.
Attend industry events and travel exhibitions to promote our brand.
Provide training and support to junior sales team members.Minimum RequirementsRequirements:Relevant professional work experience in luxury safari sales and/or travel planning in East Africa.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A deep understanding and passion for safari travel in East Africa.
Strong knowledge of East African travel products, services, and suppliers.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be available to start as soon as possible.
