Seeking an eCommerce and Digital Specialist!Our client, a key player in the Agriculture industry, located in Citrusdal, is on the lookout for a talented eCommerce and Digital Specialist to join their team.In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimising all websites, with a primary focus on eCommerce, to improve user experience and maximise sales. You will contribute to the development and execution of strategies aimed at driving traffic, boosting conversion rates, and enhancing customer engagement.

• Conduct routine maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance and security of the eCommerce website(s).
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the website(s).
• Modify website design and functionality as required.
• Oversee daily eCommerce platform operations, including product listings, inventory management, and order processing.
• Maintain clear communication with relevant stakeholders to prevent any potential sales disruptions on the eCommerce platform(s).
• Optimise the online shopping experience to boost conversion rates and enhance user engagement.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive traffic and increase sales on the eCommerce site(s).
• Ensure product and landing pages are SEO-optimised.
• Manage website plugins and external apps, including Mailchimp, Stamped, Rocket.net, and Business Central.
• Provide technical support to eCommerce clients and agents.
• Analyse digital marketing campaigns across SEO, PPC, email, social media, and content marketing channels for reporting purposes.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Marketing / E-Commerce

Experience:

• Experience with eCommerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento or WooCommerce
• 2 - 3 Years relevant experience.
• Must have experience with web platforms, such as WordPress.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital analytics tools.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Enthusiasm for the Agriculture and/or FMCG industries.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and growth within a dynamic organisation.
