Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for online and retail channels, aiming to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, fostering a culture of success and ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds sales goals
  • Oversee inventory levels in online and retail stores, ensuring optimal product availability, and strategically managing stock turnover
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided across both online and physical retail environments, addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and generate reports to identify trends and opportunities, contributing to informed decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with the merchandising team to create compelling product displays and impactful promotional campaigns that drive sales
  • Ensure compliance with all retail and online sales regulations, including labelling and licensing requirements, to uphold legal standards
Requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12) Technical training would be essential
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in online retail sales, with a strong understanding of e-commerce business models
  • Proven track record of working with e-commerce companies, including managing product listings, optimizing sales performance, executing promotional strategies, and driving revenue growth on the platform
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with online retail partners, ensuring smooth operations and consistent performance improvements
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve business goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and the ability to interpret sales trends, forecast demand, and create actionable insights for business growth
  • Experience in managing budgets, setting sales targets, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Familiarity with e-commerce tools and platforms is an added advantage
