A company that has emerged as a trailblazer in the Direct Response industry, carving a niche primarily in TV and online marketing is looking for an experienced and results-driven E-commerce Key Accounts Manager to lead and nurture our strategic partnerships with key online retail accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the successful execution of e-commerce initiatives.. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
Having more than 5 years of sales experience, with an additional 1 year or more specifically on marketplaces. (e.g. Takealot, Amazon & Makro)
Proven experience in e-commerce account management, preferably in a key account or strategic partnerships role
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, online retail trends, and digital marketing strategies
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans for key accounts
Identify opportunities for growth and propose innovative solutions to maximize account potential
Sales and Revenue Optimization:
Drive sales growth by analysing account performance, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to optimize product listings and promotions
Negotiate terms and agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring a win win partnership
Data Analysis:
Utilize analytics and market insights to provide data-driven recommendations for product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies
Regularly evaluate sales performance and key metrics to identify areas for improvement
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and product development, to align strategies and ensure seamless execution
Coordinate promotional calendars, product launches, and other initiatives with key accounts
Problem Resolution:
Proactively identify and address challenges or issues that may impact the success of key accounts
Collaborate with internal teams to implement corrective actions and improve overall satisfaction
