Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Create a vision for the consumer by bringing together Brand creative, Marketing initiatives, UX, and product. Tie together brand initiatives and selling product while delivering a unique value proposition to the customer. Define the value proposition and answer why TBL.co.za?. Partner with Marketing to ensure a seamless experience from Brand advertising through the entire site experience.
  • Define and manage a seasonal, monthly, and weekly site content calendar in partnership with buying and marketing to ensure freshness, relevancy, and the appropriate balance of commerce and brand story telling. Manage the briefing, planning, requesting, publishing and measurement processes with internal and external partners.
  • Manage the day-to-day tasks related to the online shop, including daily sales reporting, checking orders, and managing the online packing team etc.
  • Product data management - ensuring all product descriptions, Product Images and other product information are up-to-date and that the prices are correct. Listing new products on the website.
  • Overall management of e-commerce stock - plan and maintain a sufficient stock holding, forecasting etc.
  • Maintaining the general website content - uploading pages, new campaigns and implementing changeovers etc.
  • Work with marketing coordinator to plan and implement strategies to ensure profitability and meet sales targets.
  • Work with the marketing team to drive traffic, plan promotions, and increase revenue.
  • Design and prepare monthly reports on e-commerce/website metrics (Web Analytics - monitor and measure site performance, report on product sales etc.)
  • Customer service - daily communication with customers to answer and resolve customer queries.
  • Customer Relationship Management - build retention and acquisition strategies to build customer database and segment customer communication.
  • Work closely with web development and technical teams to assist with website improvements.
  • Customer User Journey Development and assessment - be able to monitor and build customer journeys that drive conversion.
  • Daily communication with third-party service providers (couriers, warehouse, other business units).
  • Budget for e-commerce expenditures.
  • Solid experience in delivering results across a broad spectrum of digital channels, to include SEO, Display Social, Email, Paid Media, etc.
  • Solid experience in Shopify and Google Analytics (payfast & courierIt integration beneficia)
  • E-Retail management and maintenance.
  • Professional Skills Technical experience with ecommerce platforms: Payment gateways, Google Analytic, Shopify etc.
  • 5+years related experience in Ecommerce in the Retail Fashion industry
  • BA/BS in Business, Merchandising, Marketing or related field
  • Experience with tools and technologies used for website merchandising and management; Microsoft Office
  • Have aptitude for working with Content Management Systems
  • In depth understanding of web design and web analytic software
  • Proficient experience in Shopify platform
