Who are we: A business-to-business publishing house focusing on trade publications.Who we are looking for: A talented and detail-oriented Editor with a strong background in the news industry who will be responsible for writing and editing b2b and trade articles.What will you do:Producing industry-specific, newsworthy content that meets audience needsOverseeing editorial processes and managing the team to ensure high-quality outputEnsuring adherence to deadlines and budgetsDeveloping and implementing strategic initiatives and promotional activitiesManaging, planning and reporting on costs for freelancersMentoring young journalists and fostering their professional developmentNetworking with industry contacts by attending relevant functions and eventsWhat will you need:Proven experience managing news journalists and editing publications; B2B experience is essentialAbility to find, write and edit lead stories for a niche sectorTertiary qualification in communications or journalismFamiliarity with production processes (subbing, proofing, layout)Strong writing skills and creative expression in both writing and designWillingness to travel as neededA valid passport, drivers licence and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory
