Responsibilities:
As a Lecturer in Information Technology, you will be responsible for teaching and facilitating learning in a specific subject field on campus. Your role involves promoting student engagement, supporting the student learning experience, and ensuring student success through improved retention and throughput rates. You will be expected to stay updated on developments in the subject area and ensure the quality of content delivery, assessment, and learning material relevancy to achieve learning outcomes.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Degree in Information Technology or BTECH in Information Technology.
Proficiency in Programming, particularly Java and C++.
Proficiency in MS Office package.
Must have previous lecturing experience.
Educational Requirements:
Proven teaching portfolio demonstrating student support and success.
Minimum of 1 year of lecturing experience required, with 3 or more years’ experience preferred.
Possession of specialist knowledge and technical skills in the subject discipline to develop teaching programs and materials and provide learning support.
Active participation in professional academic development, including awareness of regulatory body requirements, quality councils, institutional standards, and policies.
