We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join our dynamic team at our Cape Town campus in the Western Cape. As a Lecturer, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch education and promoting academic growth among our students.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Proficiency in Engineering Drawing would be advantageous
Minimum of 1 year of teaching/lecturing experience
Previous experience delivering lectures both on-campus and online, preferably with hybrid (semi-remote/online) students

Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lectures in Mechanical Engineering for NATED Mechanical Engineering courses
Teach subjects related to Industrial Orientation (N1-N3), Plant Operation Theory (N1-N4), Engineering Science (N1-N4), Mathematics (N1-N6), Chemistry (N4-N5), Chemical Plant Operation (N4-N6), Chemical Technology (N6) and Power Machines (N5-N6)

Perform administrative tasks associated with courses and attend departmental meetings as required
Develop and enhance academic content, including conducting research and creating new topics and teaching materials, including online resources
Participate in examination certification and promotion processes for learners
Conduct face-to-face lectures and facilitate contact sessions with distance learners
Maintain accurate student records and proactively monitor academic progress
Assist with general academic administration tasks
Provide student support during contact sessions with distance learners
