The Sales Manager is pivotal in driving the success of the organisation by managing the sales team within the Operations unit. This role primarily involves strategising and executing sales plans, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives, and fostering a high-performance sales environment. Positioned within the business hierarchy, the Sales Manager reports directly to the Contact Centre Manager (Kerusha Chetty) and indirectly to Operations, contributing to the overall commercial strategy set by the Commercial Manager and the CEO.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies that align with the company's goals, maintaining high customer satisfaction levels, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. The Sales Manager also plays a crucial role in team management, from hiring and training to motivating staff to achieve their sales targets. Regular performance monitoring and reporting to senior management are essential to ensure that sales objectives are met.
The Sales Manager must foster a positive working environment, addressing any issues that may affect team morale and productivity. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements in sales techniques and processes, leveraging technology to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales management within the online educational or similar sector
Strong understanding of CRM systems, preferably Bitrix24
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Proficient in sales strategy development and execution.
Ability to analyse sales data and generate actionable insights.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the online education market and eLearning products.
Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to sales.
