Job Description
Qualifications & Experience:
- Grade 12 Matriculation (Requirement)
- NDip or bachelors degree in engineering or a related field (Requirement)
- 5+ years experience in a similar role and industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software for schematic design
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE)
- Adaptability to changing priorities and project requirements
- Exceptional time-management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Electrical and instrumentation engineering and design reticulation pertaining to process plants according to project specifications.
- Create Schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation for electrical systems.
- Estimating, selecting, and procuring equipment and material as per project and client requirements and specifications.
- Inspecting and, testing and verifying all electrical equipment confirms to the approved design documentation.
- Commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems according to project-based control and commissioning procedures to ensure system integration and correct functionality.
- Collaborate with construction teams and contractors to ensure proper installation and integration of electrical components.
