Job SummaryArtisan: ElectricalOperationsAccountable for specialist outputs, as well as initiating quality standards within defined work routines and policies.Job PurposeTo ensure functionality and availability of all electrical equipment in the factory, to install/supply power to new equipment and to assist with the maintenance of the factory.Key Accountabilities and OutputsElectrical MaintenanceApplies electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify operational electrical machinery/ electrical control equipment/ circuitry in the plantAssembles and tests motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings. solenoids and other electrical equipment/ components according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principlesDiagnoses cases of electrical/mechanical malfunctions or failure or expansionsDevelops wiring diagrams for systems or equipment modifications or expansionsAssists with general plant maintenance with the maintenance teamConducts daily running and repair of plant machinery as per instructionsPerforms electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, electronic and cooling system maintenance on all machinery including high speed machinery and PLCAssists with breakdowns and attends to call-outs according to the operational requirementsGreases machinery as per maintenance scheduleAdherence to the Quality, Food Safety, Health, Safety and Environmental StandardsAdherence to Standards: Ensure strict adherence to Quality, Food, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards.Enforcement: Enforce all food safety and health regulations, policies, and requirements at all times to guarantee a secure work environment.Personal Hygiene: Maintain exceptional personal hygiene as per the organizations code of conduct.Contamination Control: Raise awareness about potential physical product contamination and implement control measures to prevent it.Health and Safety Measures: Take reasonable precautions to prevent health and safety hazards. Follow the prescribed incident reporting procedure in case of accidents.Knowledge and Compliance: Stay updated with relevant business information, policies, processes, and procedures.
