Crafting intricate chassis harness designs, employing cutting-edge 3D CAD and 2D schematic software
Orchestrating the development of electrical systems, seamlessly integrating 3D wiring designs in Siemens NX and translating them into precise 2D harness drawings and schematics
Merging electrical components flawlessly into vehicle architectures
Strategizing project scopes and diligently managing project timelines for optimal efficiency
Generating meticulous bills of materials and assembling them into representative 3D models using Unigraphics NX
Implementing robust product data management protocols by inputting designs and pertinent data into PDM software like Team Center
Ensuring design compliance with supplier specifications and regulatory standards
Prioritizing design considerations for cost-effectiveness, installation simplicity, and serviceability
Conducting comprehensive concept and design reviews to refine and enhance solutions
Collaborating closely with suppliers to optimize design outcomes
Analyzing outcomes rigorously against customer requirements and industry benchmarks
Facilitating seamless coordination and communication among various engineering disciplines and project teamsSkills & Experience:
A minimum of 2+ years' hands-on experience in electrical design engineering is a must
Those with a background in automotive OEM design will have a distinct advantage
Proficiency in 3D CAD software, particularly Siemens NX, is highly desirable
Familiarity with Mentor Graphics Vesys for schematic design is considered advantageous
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required for this role
Attention to detail is a key attribute we're seeking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essentialQualification:
