Job Description
Job Summary Showcase 3D CAD and 2D Schematic software proficiency for streamlined chassis harness design. Demonstrate Siemens NX expertise in crafting intricate electrical systems, encompassing 3D wiring and 2D harness drawings. Seamlessly integrate electrical components into the overall design. Execute efficient project management, encompassing scope evaluation, timeline management, and rigorous concept and design reviews. Illustrate skill in creating precise bills of materials and 3D assemblies using Unigraphics NX. Efficiently manage product data in Team Centre, ensuring designs meet supplier and regulatory standards while prioritizing cost-effectiveness and serviceability. Exhibit strong collaboration with suppliers, effectively liaising on design elements and assessing results against rigorous customer requirements. Skills & Experience: Minimum of 3+ years design experience Experience in OEM design Familiarity with Siemens NX for 3D CAD. Experience utilizing Mentor Graphics Vesys for schematics design and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. Willing to travel overseas for varying durations. Qualification: BEng/BSc/BTech Degree in Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent. South African citizenship.
