Job Summary Develop electrical building services construction project specifications and designs tailored to client needs and industry standards Collaborate with architects, contractors, and construction experts to ensure designs are viable and align with client requirements Utilize computer-aided design (CAD), Revit, and BIM software to create 3D models and refine project designs, while conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to assess new techniques Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design reports, drawings, and specifications, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to safety, reliability, and sustainability criteria, alongside timely completion within budget and quality benchmarks Identify avenues for process enhancements and cost efficiencies, offering recommendations to senior management Lead regular project team meetings, providing guidance and support to team members across disciplines Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, planning updates, and milestone adjustments to ensure alignment and transparency Skills & Experience: Minimum of 10 years' engineering experience Proficient in engineering design and construction Minimum 5 years post- Pr.Eng registration focused on domestic/low voltage design and Construction Management Qualification: BEng or BSc or BTech Professionally registered with ECSA Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
